One of my other hobbies is photography. I like to go out taking pictures of cityscapes and people (that can be tricky). I shoot with a Nikon D50 it’s an entry level DSLR, it’s a few years old now but it still serves me well. I try to go out every other weekend with friends. I am a member of the photo club at my university so there is no shortage of friends to go shoot out with. I must say that I often prepare to shoot alone as shooting in groups can be a bit distracting. I am getting more and more into people’s photography as I find it a challenge. It’s a challenge for me because I am rather shy by nature and it takes gut to just point a camera at someone and shoot. I don’t ask for permission before because I don’t want the person to pose or be unnatural. It’s sometimes a debated subject this, whether you can or not take people’s picture without their permission and I am sure it depends on the country you live in. Here it is ok so at least I know I have the law on my side. It won’t prevent me from getting my ass kicked but hey there’s no reward without risks!
