What’s up with the subway company these days? It’s been the second strike in two months. As some of you may know I have had some troubles with my scooter lately and it is still in the garage being fixed. In the meantime I had to resort to taking the public transport to get to the campus. Based from my recent experience, I am glad I don’t have to take it regularly. Like I said it’s been the second strike in two months, for obscure reasons (something to do with unions and quotas). Now, I don’t have anything against strikes per say, but there’s a limit. Don’t do two back to back in an industry that affects tens of thousands of commuters every day. And if you really really have to than at least please ensure that there is a minimal service in place. I am sorry to rant like this but I needed to vent. Thank God for buses, I still managed to get into the bus and attend classes in time. No need to tell you that buses were jam-packed. To top the morning off, someone decided it was a good time to release a silent one, stinking the whole bus with a deadly smell. Nice.
