Set Your Goal

I want to talk about a subject today that is close to my heart, goal setting. You see since little I never had a clear idea of what I wanted to do later on in life unlike my brothers who for some reasons knew from little what they wanted to become. No matter how hard I was thinking about what I like and don’t like I couldn’t formulate a specific activity that I feel would fulfill me. This lead me to coast through my teenage years and unto the beginning of my twenties. When I started seeing people I grew up with get ahead of me, in their personal life and professional life, I decided it was high time for me to get my life back on tracks or should I say in the tracks for the first time. What I decided to do is to set goal for myself. I started out small, with some menial stuff like home cleaning then moved on to get back control of my life in all aspects I thought I had been to complacent before. Before long, goal setting became almost second nature (it was painful in the beginning) and the smallest of successes fed my appetite for bigger and bigger goals. Today I am happy to report I have made back for the lost time and even more I am well on my way to overtake the friends who overtook me before. If you ar struggling now and feel your life is a mess I would like you to try setting goals for yourself. Start small, like I did and gradually increase your goals. Stick to that regimen at all cost and you will come through.
